We are continuously working to make our services better and we take our patients’ suggestions and comments very seriously. Thanks to your valuable feedback, we have been working to improve our patient experience and have made some changes to our business operation.
We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with an outside vendor to provide additional customer service representatives, resulting in expanded customer service hours. PMH billing staff will continue to be available at the hospital Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm. As an added convenience, patients are now able to contact our additional representatives at 304-799-6900, Monday through Thursday 8:00am – 7:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm, and Saturday 9:00am – 1:00pm. These additional representatives are located offsite, but work as an extension of our Business Office.
We are also excited to roll out a new look for our patients’ billing statements and we hope you find that these changes make your statements easier to understand. The new statements include a summary of the charges for the services provided, and list any payments or adjustments to your account. This allows you to easily see the remaining balance due and provides a variety of payment options.
Most importantly, the statement includes information about how to contact our billing department if you would like to learn more about financial assistance options that may be available to assist you with paying your remaining balance.
