Hillsboro Clinic Accepting New Patients

Pocahontas Memorial Hospital officially opened its Hillsboro Clinic on Monday, May 2, 2022. The new clinic, located in the former building held by Drs. Pat and Bill Browning, is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30am to 6:30pm. PMH is extremely excited to bring a healthcare provider back into the Hillsboro community.

The clinic is headed up by J. Copley, PA-C. J. is from Richwood and a Glenville State College graduate. He went on to receive his training and degree as a Physician’s Assistant from Beckley College. J. joined PMH’s Rural Health Clinic earlier this year. Before joining PMH, J. was the Clinic Manager of the Richwood Family Practice. J. has experience in Emergency Medicine, working at both Richwood Community Hospital and Summersville Regional Medical Center.

Primary care, including minor urgent care, is available at the new clinic. Chronic care is also provided for chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, etc. In addition, Well Child Care, Sports/School Physicals, Family and Internal Medicine, and Women’s Health Services will be available. Appointments must be made for vaccinations. Some lab work can be completed, with results processed by Pocahontas Memorial Hospital.
