Cochran grew up in Quinwood, West Virginia and first began her nursing career as a Charge Nurse at Hampshire Memorial Hospital in Romney in 1976. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Clinical Science Department of West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, a position she has held since 2010.
Cochran lives in Lewisburg with her husband, Fred. The couple has two sons and four grandchildren. She is a doting grandmother and names playing with her grandkids as her favorite hobby.
“We are thrilled to bring a provider with Jill’s history of pediatric care and professional background to our clinic,” says Summer Moore, RN, and Manager of the Rural Health Clinic. Participants of PMH’s Community Health Needs Assessments over the years have long identified a desire for more medical providers concentrating in pediatrics.
“I am so excited and looking forward to coming to the Rural Health Clinic and seeing patients in a new setting!” Cochran says. Her first day seeing pediatric patients will be next Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
