Our commitment to community.
For years, our Community Health Needs Assessments have identified a top need in Pocahontas County as behavioral health resources. In 2019, PMH was proud to take action on this need and open our own Behavioral Health Clinic. “My philosophy is the client is the expert on their own life. I seek to help people get ‘unstuck’ to find their strengths in order to increase their hope for positive change in their lives. I love helping people feel better emotionally,” says Program Director Amy B. Mitchell, Ph.D., LICSW, CAADC.
